When I was younger someone was fooling around
held me upsidedown by my feet and dropped me on the ground
Don't know if that's the reason why
If you ask me how I'm doing I'll probably cry
I've got those childhood head trauma
dropped on the head as a child blues
Now I can't drive cars I don't recognize faces
I get freaked out when I go into public places
Don't know if it's the reason why
If you ask me how I'm doing I'll probably cry
But I've got those
Childhood Head trauma
Dropped on the head as a child blues
I know it could be so much worse
at least I din't go for a ride in a hearse
My disabilities are relatively mild
For having been dropped on the head as a child
I heard it time and time again said
"What's wrong with you girl, were you dropped on the head?"
Well I was and I got the
childhood head trauma
dropped on the head as a child blues
Mommas and daddies
Gather around
Don't let nobody hang your children upside down
and if they do and they drop them on their heads,
Do them a favor don't put them to bed
They'll have those
childhood head trauma
dropped on the head as a child blues

baby baby bluejays
you have the sweetest faces
you're doing such a good job
learning how to fly
all together in a group
flapping wobbily
loop the loop
back and forth from tree to tree
it gets to be so easy
even though you're just a baby
and still cry like a baby when you sing
Baby baby grackle
in the concrete parking lot
it looks to me like you're a full grown bird
Having a tantrum making a scene
not yet ready to use your wings
even though you look like a full grown bird you still
cry like a baby when you sing
Daddy daddy bluejay
you do just what a dad can
looking for bugs in a trash can
you are strong and brave
Momma moma grackle
That baby of yours looks quite absurd
Give him some food so he will just shut up
Sparrow baby sparrow
having the mostest fun of all
Even though you're very small
You still can get around
Hello baby sparrow
I wonder what your name is
Hopping around in a circle with your family on the ground
